Dishwasher - [Mar 27, 2026]
Join our kitchen team as a dishwasher at The Blue Gate Restaurant in Shipshewana, Indiana. As a dishwasher, you will efficiently clean and wash dishes, flatware, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment while maintaining a safe and organized work area. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of bus carts, tubs, the dish machine, and garbage containers. Other responsibilities include maintaining the entire dish room area as sanitary and orderly as possible, including the dishwashing machine, mats, and sinks. A dishwasher will also polish the dishwasher and perform nightly closing duties and tasks as assigned by your managers.

Dishwasher Requirements:
 •  Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including standing for an entire shift, bending, stretching, moving, and lifting. 
 •  Must agree to work the closing shift, including Fridays and Saturdays.
 •  Must work efficiently and perform well within a team environment.
 •  Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

Food Prep Worker - [May 13, 2026]
Join our kitchen team as a food prep worker at The Blue Gate Restaurant. We are a busy restaurant located in the heart of Amish country, welcoming visitors from all over the country. We are focused on teamwork and delivering a consistent, high-quality product. Your effort will ensure that guests enjoy a good meal and leave with a smile.
 
Food prep workers' responsibilities include the following:
 • Preparing food.
 • Following recipes.
 • Making simple dishes.
 • Assembling and plating meals.
 • Cleaning and sanitizing your work area.
 • Other tasks as assigned.
 
Experience in the food industry is helpful but optional. We cross-train all team members to provide them with the knowledge and skills to work in all areas of our kitchen. 
As a food prep worker (full-time or part-time), you'll work up to five times per week, including Fridays and Saturdays (required). Bakery Production - 2nd Shift (Part-time) - [May 13, 2026]
Join our team of bakers at the Blue Gate Bakery in Shipshewana, Indiana. As a baker on the second shift, you will help our bakery production team make donuts and assist with various other delicious baked goods.
Our baker/donut maker should be self-motivated, task-oriented, detail-oriented, and adaptable. Making donuts is hard work, but the result of your effort is a great product, happy customers, and the satisfaction of your accomplishment. 
 
Responsibilities: 
 • Weighing, mixing, and cutting the dough
 • Frying and glazing donuts. 
 • Safely use and maintain equipment, including stand mixer, fryer, etc.
 • Clean the work area, wash dishes, sweep, mop, etc.

Blue Gate Hospitality is seeking a laundry attendant to efficiently and accurately maintain the flow of soiled and clean laundry out of the Blue Gate Garden Inn. A full-time laundry attendant will work five weekly shifts from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm, including Saturdays and Sundays. The daily hours may vary during the slow season. 
 
Laundry attendant pay starts at up to $15.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential on Sundays. We pay biweekly. Working on the weekends is required!
